Belinda is a published illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia. She is inspired by the illustrators of the Golden Age such as Arthur Rackham and the artists of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood like Dante Gabriel Rosetti. Despite studying various disciplines from Fine Art to Graphic Design to Comics, Belinda decided to focus on fantasy illustration as it has always been something she greatly enjoyed and in using watercolour to paint with became something she was good at. After six years of being on this path Belinda is now working on a series of oracle cards to be released at the end of 2019. Through her strong sense of colour and excellence in depicting mood through her paintings Belinda hopes that her work will inspire and encourage the viewer to see more beauty in the world.
Places where she has her work published include; “Dreamy Belle’s Visit to Heaven” by Gabrielle Bettels Hoffman, ImagineFX magazine, Capricious Magazine, Lackingtons Magazine and Infected By Art Volume 5.
